CNC Machinist
An interesting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a CNC machinist / programmer within our Machine Shop. Reporting to our Machine Shop Cell Leaders, your responsibilities will include working various production CNC and manual turning and milling machines.
In order to be successful in this role we are currently looking for a person that has meticulous attention to detail having worked in a precision environment to tight tolerances. The right person needs to be able to proficiently work CNC machines, have programming skills, be organized, and manage their workload while being able to work as part of a team. Reliability, flexibility, and attention to detail are key to this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce high‑quality components to tight drawing tolerances within given time scales, predominantly on CNC Mill‑Turn and conventional machines.
* Prepare and maintain CNC machines to the required specification and procedural guidelines.
* Set and change tools, making fine adjustments to produce accurate components.
* Operate CNC equipment in accordance with procedure and health and safety guidelines.
* Be conversant with ISO programming of CNC milling and turning machines.
* Inspect components to tight tolerances with standard inspection equipment, including CMM.
* Work with all stakeholders to deliver the production plan on time.
* Ensure high standards of quality to exceed customer expectations.
* Mazak experience desirable.
