Your role
* Actively contribute to business development activities, identifying opportunities and engaging with clients.
* Lead and support the preparation of bids and proposals, providing technical input, resource planning and cost estimation.
* Collaborate with commercial and project management teams to develop competitive and compelling offers aligned with client needs.
* Lead the P&C FEED and detailed design works for major transmission scale projects.
* Train and develop junior engineers.
* Coordinate with other disciplines, sub-contractors and suppliers as required.
* Attend site visits, FAT and SAT under the supervision of senior and principal engineers.
* Strong communication skills and teamwork attributes.
Qualifications
* HND or Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Working towards Chartered Engineer through the IET.
* Proven experience in P&C design of substations in the UK.
* Experience preparing bids and cost estimates for FEED and detailed design work.
* Good knowledge of electrical codes and standards (IEC, IEEE).
* Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
* Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Commissioning experience on transmission or EHV scale projects.

Security clearance
This role may require security clearance. The vetting process is UKSV and may require proof of residency in the UK for 5 years or longer. Clearance discussions will occur at interview.
