We are seeking a highly organised and skilled Clerical Assistant to provide front-line administrative support within a busy secondary school environment. Acting as a key point of contact for staff, pupils, parents and visitors, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
The role involves delivering a wide range of clerical support, including maintaining computer systems and processes to support effective service delivery. You will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation such as emails, letters, notices, spreadsheets and meeting minutes, ensuring accuracy and professionalism at all times.
You will also assist in maintaining efficient office systems, enabling the prompt retrieval of information, completion of returns and effective record keeping.
As a Clerical Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of the Admin Coordinator / Business Manager, contributing positively to the wider administrative team and supporting the needs of the school community.

Qualification, Registration and Skill Requirements
You are required to have a minimum of 4 qualifications at SCQF level 4, including English and Maths (. National 4, Standard Grades at General Level or O Grades).
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
