Project Manager – Capital Projects £90 Per hour Inside IR35 6 Months West Midlands Hybrid This is an immediate requirement, and interviews will be held w/c 22nd. You will play a key role in delivering the Councils offices and Museum and Art capital projects, acting on behalf of the Council. These are high-profile, complex construction programmes requiring robust project management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery expertise. About the Project Manager role: Lead on the successful delivery of large, complex construction projects on behalf of the Council. Manage capital works with a focus on heritage buildings, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory frameworks. Oversee budgets, timescales, and quality standards across multiple workstreams. Engage with diverse stakeholders, including council departments, funding groups, heritage bodies, and community partners. Provide project governance, reporting, and risk management to ensure programme objectives are met. Your previous experience as a Project Manager: Demonstrable track record in delivering large-scale, complex construction projects within the public sector. Strong background in heritage or historic building projects (highly desirable). Construction-related qualifications (degree, chartership, or equivalent). Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and funding streams simultaneously. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills, with the ability to represent the Council professionally at all levels.
