Have you a magical eye for detail and a passion for coordinating unforgettable events in our gorgeous Grand spaces? In this role you will establish and develop personal contacts with all our special event guests, ensuring every detail of their event is met. You will manage and oversee events from the point of enquiry through to execution, ensuring accurate Function Sheets are compiled for successful delivery by the Operations team. You will also identify and maximise revenue opportunities for the wider hotel. Special events will include, but are not limited to, Weddings, Festive and Seasonal Events, Banqueting, Personalised events, Family Specific events (baby showers, wakes, etc.), and Private Afternoon Teas.


What The Job Involves

* Take initial Special Events enquiries via phone, email and third‑party websites to establish needs and opportunities.
* Send personalised proposals to all enquiries to maintain Grand Standards.
* Conduct show rounds of our beautiful event spaces, including the Grand Ballroom, to win business.
* Collate final details for all special events, ensuring a vital rapport and excellent guest journey while communicating effectively with operational teams for flawless service.
* Create key relationships with preferred suppliers to provide a personalised and seamless guest experience.
* Oversee events from enquiry through execution, ensuring accurate Function Sheets are compiled for successful delivery.
* Identify and maximise revenue opportunities for the hotel.


What You Can Bring To The Role

* A warm and welcoming personality with the ability to adapt to guest needs while creating a delightful and memorable experience.
* Strong communication skills, liaising with other departments and handling guest queries with confidence.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive under pressure.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Customer focus and exceptional guest service levels.
* A proactive, can‑do attitude to all requests and guest needs.
