We are looking for enthusiastic and committed KS1 Teaching Assistants to join welcoming primary schools across Sheffield and Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in Years 1 and 2, helping them thrive academically and socially.

Role: KS1 Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September 2025 (immediate starts available)
⏰ Contract: Full-time / Part-time | Term-time only | Long-term

Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils in Year 1 and Year 2 with learning and classroom activities
* Deliver small group interventions and provide 1:1 support where required
* Assist the teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons
* Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and progress

✅ Requirements:
* Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3) or relevant experience
* Experience supporting children in KS1 (desirable)
* Good knowledge of phonics and early literacy/numeracy support
* A positive, patient, and proactive approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
