About the Role
As an EH&S Advisor, you will:
1. Support the EH&S Manager in implementing and maintaining robust EH&S policies and management systems.
2. Provide expert advice to ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements.
3. Promote awareness and best practices to embed EH&S excellence throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities
4. Liaise with departments to ensure activities meet EH&S standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Assist in developing and implementing EH&S management systems, policies, procedures, and training.
6. Lead internal audits and coordinate actions to maintain compliance.
7. Provide technical advice and coaching to colleagues on EH&S matters.
8. Support risk assessments, accident investigations, and emergency preparedness.
9. Keep up to date with regulatory changes and industry best practices.
What We’re Looking For
10. NEBOSH General Certificate and/or TechIOSH membership (or equivalent).
11. Strong knowledge of EH&S legislation and standards, including ISO and ISO .
12. Experience with PUWER, DSEAR, COSHH, and PPC regulations.
13. Skilled in developing and delivering EH&S training and audits.
14. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage across all levels of the business.
15. IT literate with proficiency in MS Office.
Desirable
16. First Aid certification.
17. Experience with permit-to-work systems and LOTO procedures.
