The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch / Operations / Heating & Plumbing Manager to lead the setup and operation of our new store. This is a unique opportunity for a professional who has built and managed a heating & plumbing store from the ground up.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
* Leading the business formation from zero, including supplier selection, store layout, and operational setup.
* Supplier management – sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining relationships with top heating & plumbing suppliers.
* Customer development – leveraging industry connections to bring in clients and grow the customer base.
* Warehouse & store management – organizing storage, logistics, and product flow.
* Inventory management – setting up tagging, inventory systems, and ensuring smooth stock control.
* Implementing efficient processes and systems for day-to-day store operations.
* Building and leading a small team as the store expands.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Branch Manager, Store Manager, or Operations Manager in the heating & plumbing sector.
* Strong industry knowledge with established supplier and customer networks.
* Hands-on experience in setting up inventory systems, warehouse management, and store operations.
* Commercial acumen with ability to manage budgets and drive sales.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to build a store from scratch and deliver results under tight timelines.
