Role Overview
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking Casual Residential Childcare Workers. The role involves providing physical, emotional, and personal care for children and young people residing in Dudley's three residential children's homes.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to all aspects of the care and welfare of the children/young people.
* Work under the supervision of senior staff and in partnership with families and other professionals.
* Initially support 18 Tipton Road Children's Home, with potential for future hours at the Authority's other two homes.
Qualifications
* Level 4 Diploma for Children's & Young People Workforce or equivalent desirable.
* Experience working with young people.
* Subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups.
Working Hours and Location
Casual hours, including sleeping in shifts and weekend work. Onsite full time.
