We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Advisor at our Sunderland agency branch of Yorkshire Building Society. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providing excellent service and support across a range of financial products and services.
This is a part-time, permanent position offering 24 hours per week, worked across Monday to Saturday.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide an exceptional standard of customer service to all members, both face-to-face and over the phone.
* Assist customers with their day-to-day financial needs, ensuring queries are dealt with promptly and professionally.
* Handle transactions accurately, demonstrating strong attention to detail and numerical ability.
* Maintain a strong knowledge of Yorkshire Building Society products and services to confidently support customer needs.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
* Work effectively as part of a small team to achieve branch goals and deliver excellent member outcomes.
Required Criteria
* 4 or more GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
* Excellent computer skills and digital literacy.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail.
* Ability to engage with customers in a professional, approachable, and effective manner.
Desired Criteria
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a financial institution or customer service role.
