Overview
This is a part-time contract for 24.5 hours per week with shift options: Earlies 7:00am – 2:30pm or Lates 2:30pm – 10:00pm, following a 3 on 3 off rotating shift pattern.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents.
* Assist with personal care activities such as washing, dressing, personal hygiene and meals, and support general activities within the home.
* Provide care that respects residents’ dignity and individuality; assist those with limited mobility to use aids; offer comfort to residents who are distressed; provide compassionate end-of-life care as needed.
* Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, attend safeguarding training, and report concerns with escalation if action is not taken.
