Are you an organised, creative and proactive communications professional looking to work at the forefront of AI and interdisciplinary research? The Centre for Human-Inspired Artificial Intelligence (CHIA) in the Institute for Technology and Humanity (ITH) is seeking a proactive and organised Communications and Events Administrator to join its core administrative team.
This is a full-time, fixed-term post (funding available for 1 year in the first instance). Some evening working will be required to support events. This varied and dynamic role will largely focus on coordinating CHIA's growing portfolio of events—including workshops, public lectures and the annual conference—alongside managing digital communications such as website content, newsletters and social media. The postholder will also support research communications, create engaging multimedia content and help ensure consistent Centre branding. This is a diverse and dynamic role, and the role holder may be asked to undertake other duties as appropriate.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the portfolio of events including workshops, public lectures and the annual conference.
* Manage digital communications: website content, newsletters and social media.
* Support research communications and create engaging multimedia content.
* Ensure consistent Centre branding.
* Perform other duties as appropriate.
Qualifications
* Relevant administrative experience.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Confidence using website content management systems and digital platforms.
* Event coordination experience (essential).
* Familiarity with design or editorial software (advantageous).
