Job Title: Design Engineer Location: Stirling HQ, Office Based Department: Sprinklers Reporting To: Divisional Manager FES Ltd is a leading provider of fire protection and sprinkler solutions across multiple sectors. We are currently looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our in-house design team and contribute to high-profile projects. Role Purpose: As a Sprinkler Design Engineer, you will support the FES in-house sprinkler design team, ensuring sprinkler system designs meet current standards and project requirements. You will provide technical support to project teams and contribute to the successful delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and coordinate sprinkler systems across a variety of projects in line with current standards. Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Attend project design meetings, both internal and external. Provide design and technical support to project teams to ensure installations align with designs. Assist during internal and third-party audits as required. Skills & Knowledge: Minimum 3 years’ experience in sprinkler system design. Strong understanding of LPC Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Installations 2015, incorporating BS EN12845:2015 A1:2019. Proficient with FHC software (e.g., Canute, SprinkCAD). REVIT experience is essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Customer-focused approach.
