In this role, you’ll provide emotional and behavioural support to students facing mental health challenges—helping them feel safe, heard, and capable of achieving their goals. Role Accountabilities:
* Offer emotional and practical support to individuals with mental health needs.
* Help individuals build coping strategies to manage their mental health.
* Work with other staff to ensure a safe and positive environment for everyone.
* Assist in day-to-day activities, providing support where needed.
* Encourage personal development, independence, and confidence.
* Monitor and track individuals’ progress, providing feedback when necessary.
* Promote mental health awareness and contribute to an understanding, supportive atmosphere.
Role Requirements:
* Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* A compassionate and patient approach to working with vulnerable individuals.
* Ability to adapt to individual needs and provide tailored support.
* An updated CV (covering the last 10 years, with no unexplained gaps).
* Enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
