Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Gynaecology Department, which includes Gynaecology Ward; Gynaecology clinics at Ayrshire Central and outpatient Gynaecology.
You will be supervised by a registered nurse, providing specialist gynaecology services for women in Ayrshire, ensuring their emotional and mental wellbeing during and after intimate examinations, with attention to confidentiality and health and safety.

Knowledge, training, and/or experience required:
* Record patient observations and BMI.
* Effective communication skills.
* Perform delegated patient care tasks such as venepuncture, blood pressure monitoring, pregnancy testing, and BMI.
* Maintain stock with a focus on cost efficiency and safety, including ordering supplies.
