Position: Registered Manager
Location: Weston-super-Mare, UK
Type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: £35,000- £39,000 (depending on experience)
About the role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to join our team at our residential care home in Weston-super-Mare. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operations of the care home, including managing staff, scheduling, and budgeting.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including CQC guidelines.
* Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
* Create and implement care plans, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated.
* Manage and maintain accurate records and reports.
* Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and support to staff members.
* Monitor and maintain the health and safety of the care home, residents, and staff.
* Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for residents.
* Handle any complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
* Continuously strive to improve the quality of care and services provided.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a care home setting.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
* Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
* Passion for providing high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities.
