Senior Night Care Worker
We are seeking a Senior Night Care Worker who can guide and support our night team while ensuring consistent, high quality care for older people. This role is ideal for someone who brings calm decision making, clear communication and a steady presence throughout the night.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support the night care team including task allocation and coordination
* Maintain a safe, secure and reassuring environment during night hours
* Oversee night time care planning, medication routines and quality checks
* Supervise and appraise staff and contribute to their ongoing development
* Promote the wellbeing and comfort of service users in a person‑centred way
Qualifications and Skills
* Confident and supportive leader, with integrity and empathy
* Christian faith, comfortable working within CrossReach’s ethos
* SVQ Level 3 in Social Care
* Willing to complete PDA Supervision, PDA Medication, SVQ Level 4 and the Workplace Assessor Award
* Basic computer skills
* SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership required

The post requires a Christian faith and the ability to uphold our Christian Ethos – an occupational requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010. This role also requires membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, SSSC registration, and a verified UK right to work.
