Benchmark Designs Limited, a specialist design-and-build studio, is looking for an experienced Site-Focused Project Manager (or Site Manager) to deliver fast-paced hospitality and food & beverage fit-out projects across the UK. This is a site-led role, ideal for someone confident in managing construction programmes, coordinating contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring quality delivery on-site, 2–3 days per week.
You’ll be at the forefront of delivering refurbishments for some of the UK’s best-known hospitality venues, from stadiums and racecourses to large-scale corporate and university sites. The focus here is on-site project delivery, working closely with our clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure every project runs to time, budget, and quality expectations.
The Role
* Lead the on-site delivery of F&B fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and subcontractors
* Oversee construction programmes, H&S compliance, and site coordination
* Ensure snag-free, high-quality handovers within tight deadlines
* Travel to key sites 2–3 days per week, with the rest split between remote coordination and studio collaboration
* Less involvement in design; more emphasis on construction and delivery
About You
* Strong experience in site or project management within hospitality, F&B, retail, or commercial interiors
* Proven track record managing contractors and delivering multi-site refurbishment projects
* Confident, organised, and solution-focused — comfortable leading site activity
* Knowledge of construction H&S, CDM, and fit-out compliance
* Willing to travel nationally — full UK driving licence required
