Who are we looking for?
Supporting every employee of Futures Housing Group is our dedicated ICT Team. We aim to resolve issues promptly and continually improve our service to internal customers.
We are seeking an ICT Service Desk Technician to join our proactive team. As a progressive company, we offer a dynamic environment where your skills will be put to great use.
You should demonstrate team spirit, a hands-on approach, willingness to visit various FHG sites, and enjoy variety in your role, including 1st/2nd/3rd line support, handling ICT requests from office-based and remote staff, assembling ICT kits, conducting meeting room checks, and supporting interesting projects.
Ideal candidates are self-motivated, prioritize effectively, and possess excellent customer service skills. Support will be provided via email, phone, instant messaging, and face-to-face interactions. A positive attitude, motivation, and influence during busy periods are essential.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Being the first point of contact for the ICT team, recording tickets via various channels.
2. Adopting best practices aligned with standards such as ITIL and ISO20000 for ICT service delivery and support.
3. Providing internal support to the ICT team, including technical input, data preparation, procurement, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining records.
4. Managing incidents, problems, support, and change requests from initiation to resolution, escalating as necessary.
