Senior Support Worker
Location: Orchard Leigh in Cheltenham
Pay rate starts at £13.84 per hour.
Typical shifts are a mixture: 08:00‑20:00 x 2 and 07:30‑21:00 on a rota Monday‑Sunday. This can change depending on the needs of the service.

Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential service, which is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people.
Responsibilities
* Help people to gain more independence in their daily lives.
* Assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service.
* Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues, support supervision, order medication.
* Ensure that people we support are assisted in managing their finances.
* Maintain focus on the central role of Senior Support Workers in providing day-to-day support.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
* Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
* Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
* Strong values of compassion, commitment and team spirit.
