Job Description
New Directions are currently recruiting for a Teaching assistant who specialises in behaviour to work in a Mainstream secondary school in Stockport, starting as soon as possible. This is a full-time, long-term role until the end of the academic year.
The School:

3. Delivers an inquiry-based and inclusive curriculum designed to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with additional and complex needs.
The Role:
4. 1 to 1 support with a student in KS3 with behavioural needs
5. Managing students behaviour
6. Full time – Monday to Friday – 8:30am -3pm
The Candidate:
7. Holding a Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
8. Experience working with children in a classroom setting is essential: working with students with behaviour or SEMH needs ideally
