Chorley Together PCN are supporting Dr Dawoud's practice with the recruitment of a enthusiastic and compassionate GP to join their team based in Clayton-Le-Woods Chorley.
You will be part of a friendly, excellent dynamic forward- thinking multi-disciplinary team who is highly proficient in helping them achieve their mission to deliver high quality care to their patients.
This part time role (2 days/4 sessions per week) provides an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced GPs.

Main duties of the job
You will perform as an autonomous general practitioner working independently with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of patients attending within a primary care setting. You will provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues whilst maintaining clinical excellence. You will be professionally accountable and responsible for all elements of clinical practice in accordance with the GMC code of conduct, ensuring the safety of patients and quality of their care is primary.

About us
Dr Dawoud's surgery is one of six practices that make up Chorley Together PCN.
Located in the semi-rural area of Clayton-Le-Woods. The village lies along the A6 known locally as Preston Road. As well as this, Clayton-le-Woods is connected by the B5256 between Blackburn and Leyland, the B5254 between Clayton and Leyland, the M6 at Junction 28 and 29, the M61 at Junction 8 and 9 and the M65 at Junction 1A, 1 and 2. Further roads, such as the A49, connect Clayton to Buckshaw Village, Euxton, Charnock Richard and Wigan.
The surgery comprises a friendly team of two GP partners, one salaried GP, an in-house prescribing pharmacist and two practice nurses who focus on high quality patient care as well as staff wellbeing. The clinical team is supported by a small admin team and a Practice Manager. Collectively, they provide Primary Care Services to over 3000 patients.
