Meraki Talent is looking to recruit a Senior / Lead IT Security Controls Analyst (Testing) to join our client who is a major financial services organisation. The client is a rapidly growing global leader in data and analytics, consistently innovating to unlock new opportunities for businesses and consumers alike offering a dynamic, inclusive environment where your work truly makes an impact.
You will be part of a team that evaluates and tests security controls across on-premise and cloud environments to ensure they are effectively designed and implemented to protect the organization's assets. They’re looking for someone with strong experience in IT audit or information security control assessments, including cloud security. You should have a solid understanding of industry standards like NIST and ISO 27001, and preferably hold relevant certifications.
Responsibilities of the Senior / Lead IT Security Controls Analyst (Testing):
* Design and implement repeatable, automated testing methodologies for control assurance, including cloud environments.
* Plan and lead control testing teams to assess design and operational effectiveness of security controls.
* Ensure quality and accuracy of testing documentation and identify control deficiencies with clear recommendations.
* Communicate and present testing findings to stakeholders, managing ongoing engagement and updates.
Experience of the Senior / Lead IT Security Controls Analyst (Testing)
* Extensive experience in an IT Audit or Security controls testing position
* Background in creating automated testing methods for security controls / assessment
* Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, and COBIT
* Ideally someone who has certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent
