Physics Teacher – Part Time (0.6 FTE)
Location: North London. Start date: September 2026. Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 pro rata.
Overview
A co‑educational secondary school in North London seeks a dedicated Physics Teacher to join the science department on a permanent 0.6 FTE basis from September 2026. The role involves teaching KS3 and KS4 Science, with a focus on Physics and supporting lessons in Chemistry and Biology.
Responsibilities
The teacher will:
* Teach KS3 and KS4 Science classes, primarily focusing on Physics.
* Support student progress and contribute positively to the wider Science department.
* Deliver high‑quality lessons across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Qualifications
* Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school.
* Ideally hold QTS.
* Strong subject knowledge in Physics and ability to teach KS3 and KS4 Science.
* Comfortable teaching in Chemistry and Biology as part of a broad Science timetable.
* Demonstrate effective classroom management and high expectations for all learners.
* Committed to supporting student progress in a permanent part‑time teaching role.
* Hold UK Right to Work.
