Role Summary
We are seeking an Adult Nurse Lecturer to join our Adult Nursing Department, supporting the delivery of high‑quality services across the University. The role involves contributing to the design, delivery and assessment of academic modular content, primarily for undergraduate nursing modules, while also supporting postgraduate work, including Health Assessment modules and the Cardiac Care module, to ensure services remain efficient, compliant and aligned to university priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Teaching, marking and assessing across a range of programmes, subjects and levels.
* Module coordination.
* Personal academic tutor role.
* Academic assessor.
* Quality assurance of content and evidence‑based practice.
Essential Requirements
* Current Nursing and Midwifery Council registrant (NMC).
* Registration details must be included on CV and application.
* Educated to degree level or above in a clinically relevant subject area.
Desirable Requirements
* Hold a current teaching, assessing, and/or education qualification valid within the UK (e.g., NMC Teacher Status or HEA Fellow status).
* Experience delivering teaching in healthcare or other higher educational institutions.
* Previous higher education teaching experience.
* Experience supporting nursing students or apprentices at various levels.
