Assistant Controller – Brighton, CO

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary for this position is $100,000–$110,000, commensurate with experience. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA/FSA options, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, company holidays, and employee discount programs.

Responsibilities
* Prepare and post monthly journal entries
* Reconcile accounting schedules and balance sheet accounts
* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports
* Support audit readiness and compliance with government reporting requirements
* Leverage Excel and accounting systems to streamline manual processes
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting
* Provide guidance to accounting staff
* Maintain confidentiality of financial data
* Participate in cross-functional collaboration to improve operations
* Complete a general abilities assessment as part of the hiring process

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
* 5+ years of accounting experience
* Strong understanding of GAAP
* Advanced Excel skills
* Excellent communication and analytical abilities
* Payroll experience is a bonus
* CPA certification is a plus
Location
* This position is fully on-site in Brighton, Colorado.
* Candidates must be comfortable working in a collaborative, in-person environment.
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
