We are recruiting for an Automation Maintenance Technician at our Croydon Mail Centre, Croydon, CR9 4AA.
Potential earnings: over £51,051 per annum, including night shift allowance of £5,100, 22.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a pension scheme. Weekend shift allowances apply.
The role involves working on a shift rotation system covering early, late, night, and weekend shifts, with some voluntary flexibility for 24/7 operations, overtime, and shift pattern adjustments.
Shift times:
* Early: 06:00 - 14:10
* Late: 14:00 - 22:10
* Nights: 22:00 - 06:10
* Weekend: 06:00 - 18:00 (Saturday & Sunday)
* Weekend nights: 18:00 - 06:10

The Role
Full-time, 40 hours/week. Responsible for maintaining automation assets via preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, supporting continuous improvement, fault logging, root cause analysis, and equipment performance monitoring.
About You
Qualified in electrical and mechanical engineering (minimum ONC Electrical Engineering / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, experience with automation equipment, a flexible approach, and a full UK driving license are required.
