360 Connections Group Ltd are leaders in the placement of health and social care professionals across the country.
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our clients children’s residential home. You will provide high-quality, child-centred care in line with Ofsted regulations, the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF), and the Children’s Homes National Minimum Standards (NMS).
Key Responsibilities
• Provide consistent, safe, and nurturing care to children and young people
• Promote safeguarding and ensure children’s welfare is always paramount
• Support children with daily routines, education, health, and social development
• Implement care plans, behaviour support strategies, and risk assessments
• Maintain accurate and timely records
• Work effectively with colleagues and external professionals
You Will Need
* Enhanced DBS on the update service
* At least 6 months relevant experience
* Satisfactory employment references
Essential Requirements
• Experience working with children or young people in a care setting
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to regulatory standards
Desirable Criteria
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards it
• Experience supporting children with complex needs
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care
Candidates who can demonstrate greater levels of experience along with qualifications may be suitable for Qualified or Senior positions.
Pay and Benefits:
* £25000-£27000 per year full time (37.5 hrs per week)
* £28000-£32000 per year full time (37.5 hrs per week) - Qualified
* £32000-£36075 per year full time (37.5 hrs per week) - Senior
Full-time, Part-time and 20 hours visa conditions are welcome, working days, nights, and weekends.
