Healthwatch is the local voice for the people of Southend when it comes to NHS and social care. We do three main things: We provide information and advice about local services to help people get the support they need. We capture the views of local people on their experiences of using local services We act as a critical friend to the NHS and social care providers, to make things better. In Southend, the local Healthwatch service is hosted by The Advocacy People who would be your employer. The Advocacy People and Healthwatch share core values which are all about people’s voices. What We Need From You You will be a good communicator, able to listen, empathise and give impartial advice. You can write well for a variety of audiences and media. You will enjoy meeting people from all parts of our community, recording their feedback to inform our work. You will be organised, with attention to detail. Good teamwork is essential: we are looking for someone who is flexible and confident.
