* Location: Wisbech
* Contract: Permanent
* Working hours per week: 30
* Salary: £47,810 to £55,710 NHS Band 7 equivalent (Depending on experience)
Role
The post is advertised for a maximum of 32 hours part time, flexible and weekdays only. The job role will include the following responsibilities:
* Providing a range of psychological interventions for children and young people using evidence-based practices
* Supervising assistant psychologists and psychology graduates to provide psychological interventions
* Responsible for assessments (including risk assessments), formulation and recommendations for psychological support
* Formulation and delivery of care plans involving psychological treatment and management of cases
* Training and guidance of support staff to provide psychologically informed practices across the home
* Implementing a range of evidence-based psychological interventions, evaluating treatment options, and monitoring outcomes for your caseload
* Supporting and supervising Assistant Psychologists and other practitioners in relation to their caseload
* Participating in evidence-based recommendations to the multidisciplinary team regarding assessment, interventions and required skills to deliver the plan of care and health/social outcomes while minimising risk
* Providing clinical assessments and interventions in line with Cambian policies and procedures
* Maintaining adherence to NICE guidelines and best practice clinical standards
* Attending and contributing to CMAP meetings, multidisciplinary meetings and other professional reviews
* Maintaining accurate records of clinical input
* Participating in regular clinical supervision
* Participating in service development initiatives
* Being part of a wider MDT and having access to a Consultant Psychologist at a sister site
Candidate Profile
Essential
* Post graduate doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology (or equivalent)
* HCPC registration
* Working knowledge of child and adult safeguarding legislation
* Experience/knowledge of routine clinical outcomes monitoring
* Experience/knowledge of clinical risk assessment
* Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Competent computer skills with a broad base of IT capabilities
* Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
* Strong literacy and report writing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
* Experience of managing complex caseloads and applying a range of interventions
Desirable
* Experience of delivering specialist assessments in Autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, complex needs and/or challenging behaviours
* Knowledge of developmental trauma and supporting families with children who are looked after/adopted
* Clear communicator, well-organised, capable of managing a complex caseload in a demanding environment; experience supervising others and providing training to multi-disciplinary staff
