We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established team in the area of Peterborough.
Working Hours
* Full-Time, Permanent (negotiable)
* Monday to Friday: 8:15 am – 6:00 pm
o Includes protected 1-hour lunch break
o Time allocated daily for admin, client communication, and case development
Weekend Rota
* 1 in 4 weekends:
o Saturday: 8:15 am – 11:00 am & 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm consults
o Sunday: Inpatient checks only (if applicable, nurse on-site)
o Tuesday off following weekend worked (regardless of inpatient status)
Salary
* Up to £70,000 per annum
Duties
* Consultations and routine surgery (15-minute standard appointments; longer for complex/end-of-life cases)
* Shared weekend and OOH inpatient cover rota
* Collaborate with nurses and reception team for patient care delivery
* Contribute to gold-standard treatment planning and client communication
