Job Opportunity: Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) – Primary Mainstream
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to work across a mainstream primary school located in Carshalton. This exciting opportunity is available from the end of September or early October, offering an excellent chance to make a meaningful difference in children’s communication development.
About the Role:
– Provide specialist speech and language therapy services to pupils within a supportive and inclusive school environment.
– Conduct assessments, develop individualised intervention plans, and deliver targeted therapy sessions.
– Collaborate closely with teachers, teaching assistants, parents, and other professionals to support children’s communication needs and promote effective inclusion.
– Support the school in implementing strategies that enhance communication and social interaction for children with speech, language, and communication difficulties.
Ideal Candidate:
– Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (BSc/MSc in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent).
– HCPC registered.
– Experience working with primary school-aged children, ideally within mainstream settings.
– Passionate about supporting children’s developmental needs and promoting inclusive education.
– Excellent communication and team-working skills.
