We are currently seeking an experienced Steel Welder/Fabricator to join our well-established client based in East Goscote, Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and can work confidently from drawings to finished product.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabrication and welding of steel components to a high standard.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
* Advantage if competent with saw, guillotine, punch/press brake and overhead crane.
* MIG welding essential (TIG and Stick welding an advantage)
* Cutting, grinding, and assembling steel structures.
* Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
* Working independently as well as part of a team.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a steel welder/fabricator
* Strong welding and fabrication skills
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
* Relevant welding qualifications preferred (but not essential for the right candidate)
