Daniel Owen Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to work with a leading contractor on a social housing maintenance project. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of roofing works on both occupied and void domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Flat and pitched roof repairs, including tiles, slates, and felt
2. Guttering, fascia, soffit repairs and replacements
3. Leak detection and minor structural roof works
4. Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with H&S regulations
5. Communicating clearly with tenants when working in occupied homes
Essential Requirements
1. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Roofing Occupations
2. City & Guilds Diploma in Roofing Occupations
3. Valid CSCS Card
4. Asbestos Awareness (UKATA or IATP)
5. DBS Check (current or willing to obtain)
6. Face Fit Test - must be clean shaven or provide own compatible hood
7. AA Certificate (Authorised Access - support available if needed)
8. Must have own hand tools
9. Own vehicle and full UK driving licence - van will not be provided
10. Based within 30 minutes of office (negotiable for right candidate)
