We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Bar Supervisor to play a key role in our Food & Beverage operations. You’ll lead from the front, supporting our talented team in the Bar to deliver outstanding service and unforgettable guest experiences, every time.
What you’ll be doing
* Operational Excellence: Oversee and coordinate service within the Bar Lounge, ensuring that the standards expected by both our guests and the hotel are upheld at all times.
* Support and Collaboration: Work closely with the Co-Lead F&B Managers to deliver departmental objectives, ensuring strategic goals and key performance indicators are successfully achieved.
* Stock and Financial Control: Manage wet stock across three bars, maintaining accurate stock levels and controls, ensuring gross profit targets are met, and supporting with delivery checks, par levels, and stock takes.
* Product Development: Assist in reviewing and updating the drinks menu, ensuring costings are accurate and that our product offering remains both current and appealing.
* Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and elevate guest satisfaction scores.
* Leadership and Team Management: Provide effective leadership to the Bar Supervisors and F&B team, ensuring duties are carried out efficiently and professionally through:
o Active management of staff attendance and performance
o Upholding impeccable standards of appearance and presentation
o Motivating and engaging the team through regular communication, briefings, and one-to-one meetings
o Ensuring consistent delivery of brand standards
* Training and Development: Inspire, train and coach the team to uphold the Hotel’s high service standards, fostering collaboration and communication across all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
About You
You will bring substantial experience within Food & Beverage operations at a comparable level, ideally gained within a high-quality hospitality environment. A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team to deliver consistently high standards of service is essential.
You will possess a strong understanding of stock management and financial controls, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A genuine passion for hospitality, combined with professionalism, confidence and attention to detail, will ensure you excel in this role.
