Credit Controller

Day-to-day of the role:
1. Responsible for cash collection on a ledger for large corporate customers for local and export accounts.
2. Research and verify credit data on customers to establish or update lines of credit.
3. Assess, recommend, and/or approve credit limits using credit agencies within the company's SLAs and your R&A.
4. Investigate and resolve customer invoice disputes to facilitate payment or issuance of credit to customers, working closely with the Sales teams to close down disputes in a timely manner.
5. Review customer accounts for aging of unpaid balances and pending orders, solicit payments on overdue accounts, and place delinquent accounts on 'hold' status until payment arrangements are secured.
6. Follow up on payment arrangements and recommend transfer of outstanding customer accounts to collection agencies.
