I'm looking for a Model-Based Systems Architect to join BAE Systems in Coventry.
What you'll be doing:
* Design and maintain requirements, architectures, and system designs for complex technical systems
* Generate SysML views to capture interactions between complex systems within the Submarine
* Support with the full utilisation and development of model-based systems engineering artifacts across a portfolio of products
* Expand, elaborate, and own key system design elements and associated systems engineering products that drive customer success
* Work with cross-functional teams to define system functions, requirements and design elements to ensure optimal performance in constrained technical environments
* Decompose complex designs into understandable components for further elaboration and development
* Support the execution of the full project life-cycle, from planning, through implementation, to operational readiness
Your skills and experiences:
* Hold a Degree or equivalent within a STEM field
* Have a strong familiarisation of SysML
* You will need to have experience of using Model Based System Engineering tool sets such as Enterprise Architect
* Have a firm understanding of Systems Engineering and Systems thinking
* Familiarity with the Engineering System Life-cycle and its related process (specifically processes mentioned ISO/IEC 15288)
The salary is £55,000 to £61,500 plus benefits and offers hybrid-working of 3x days per week on-site.
