3. Process and verify invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all accounts are up to date.
5. Handle queries from suppliers and internal departments effectively.
6. Assist in preparing payment runs and ensuring compliance with company policies.
7. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation.
8. Work closely with the finance team to support month-end closing procedures.
9. Identify and resolve discrepancies in a proactive manner.
10. Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
11. Previous experience in accounts payable
12. A good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
