Affinity Partnerships are looking for a qualified Food technology teacher to work in a secondary school in Weston-Super-Mare. The school will consider someone who is comfortable covering KS3 classes or KS3 and KS4, as well as also considering unqualified teachers with a food technology or cooking background. This role is for 6 weeks but has potential to be extended. The successful candidate will be paid to scale MPS1 - UPS3. The successful applicant: Qualified Teachers Status. Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education. Have excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills. Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum. Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum. Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour. Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.
