You will be joining a privately-owned and multi-accredited civil engineering contractor based in Birmingham specialising in the delivery of major infrastructure projects across the Midlands region. This multi-sector and established contractor has a strong orderbook and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Theirmitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry, and due to continued success, they are actively seeking a Senior Site Engineer to join their delivery team.
This is a full-time permanent position based initially in the Warwickshire area.
Your new role
As Senior Site Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Undertaking day-to-day setting out duties
2. Monitoring and controlling temporary works
3. Producing ITP records/plans and ensuring they are up-to-date in line with project progress
4. Managing site service drawings/plans
5. Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and clients
6. Ensuring all workplies with environmental, quality and safety policies, and is constructed to project specification.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
7. Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related field (or experience equivalent)
8. Experience as a Site Engineer on Civil Engineering projects, specifically drainage, groundworks and reinforced concrete structures
9. Proficiency in setting out using GPS, total stations and laser levels
10. Understanding of Civil Engineering drawings and specifications
11. CSCS and full UK driving licence.
