Business Development Manager
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Fully field based – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: North East / South East of England
Owen Daniels supports a leading manufacturing company, and is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join on a permanent basis due to growth in the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Build strong relationships with customers and distributors to support sales growth and customer retention.
* Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals and customer site visits.
* Manage the sales process and pipeline using CRM systems, prepared customer proposals/quotes, and negotiate with clients.
* Work closely with internal teams to share customer feedback and support business objectives.
* Monitor performance, maintain regular customer contact and report opportunities and progress to senior management.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven track record of developing new business through cold calling and customer visits.
* Ability to plan and build a strong pipeline whilst meeting deadlines.
* Effective communicator who can build strong relationships with clients.
* Possesses excellent communication skills and stays professional at all times when engaging over the phone or in person.
* Full UK driving license.
