Floorspan Contracts is a specialist designer, manufacturer and installer of pre-cast concrete flooring components.
We are a growing, progressive company and due to ongoing expansion, we require an Sales Manager to join our passionate, dynamic team.
This is a critical role in the business and you must have previous experience leading a Sales team and involvement in Sales Strategy.
Your role will be to:
* Be a positive role model and champion the 5 Floorspan values through structured coaching and mentoring.
* Lead strategic account planning for development and EPS clients; own client retention metrics and quarterly relationship reviews.
* Represent Sales & Projects in cross-functional client strategy meetings and contribute to pricing strategy and margin optimisation.
* Develop, implement, and own KPIs for quote-to-order conversion, client retention, and account growth.
* Mentor and develop the Sales & Projects team, conducting structured feedback sessions and leading cultural initiatives across the office.
* Ensure headcount and workload balance are proactively managed to deliver against commercial targets.
* Lead continuous improvement projects to streamline quotation workflows and operational processes.
* Drive CRM analytics and reporting, using data to inform commercial decision-making and forecasting.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer journeys from enquiry to delivery/installation.
* Identify, develop, and negotiate group deals for Floorspan, owning growth targets for assigned accounts.
Responsibilities
* Lead quarterly business reviews with key development, EPS, and strategic accounts to secure long-term growth.
* Ensure all new and existing customers are credit-checked, onboarded effectively, and handed over smoothly.
* Own operational KPIs for accuracy and timeliness of designs and quotations; implement quality control checkpoints.
* Ensure proactive management of pipeline projects, responding to all enquiries and declines within required timelines.
* Use CRM reporting to track sales performance, inform tactical outreach, and align pipeline with growth strategy.
* Develop tactical outreach plans to engage new customers in line with Floorspan's commercial plan.
* Contribute to strategic pricing discussions, ensuring margin optimisation and competitiveness.
* Maintain and grow existing accounts while developing structured onboarding and retention processes for new customers.
* Ensure company systems are fully updated with accurate project narratives and data-driven insights.
* Lead regular team reviews to embed improvements, maintain cultural alignment, and deliver commercial objectives.
Key Skills and Attributes:
· A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
