The Opportunity
12 months Fixed Term Contract
In this role as a Planner, you'll play a vital part in ensuring materials and packaging are available to meet production demand. Your role will involve effective ordering, inventory control, supplier engagement, and cross-functional communication to drive performance and efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily system updates and ensure accurate order placement with suppliers.
* Build strong internal and external relationships to maintain service levels.
* Place orders and schedule deliveries in line with production plans.
* Review NPD and promotional activity to ensure material readiness and stock management.
* Maintain and update planning systems and Excel stock boards.
* Use KPIs to optimise stock levels, reduce waste, and prevent redundant stock.

* Experience in a similar planning or supply chain role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills.
* Confident communicator with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, suppliers, and deadlines effectively.
* High level of numeracy, literacy, and a solutions-focused mindset.
