An excellent and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced podiatrist to join the Rheumatology Multi-disciplinary service as part of the Podiatry team. This post will support the growth and development of the already established team, whilst providing high quality podiatric care for a highly complex, high risk caseload.
As an individual you will possess evidence of advance practice skills within Diagnostic Ultrasound Imaging, Independent Prescribing, Acupuncture and Corticosteroid injection to meet the needs of the Rheumatology caseload. Mentorship and supervision will be provided within the wider Rheumatology team to support service delivery and staff development.
As a valuable member of the Rheumatology and Podiatry service you will be able to utilise your skills and knowledge to drive the ongoing development of the podiatry service to meet the needs of the local population. Knowledge and skills within quality improvement will be required for this post. As lead you will be responsible for supporting learning amongst peers, students and external agencies.
