What Were Looking For in a Childcare Practitioner: Previous hands-on experience in a nursery setting A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to use your own initiative A genuine passion for working with children that shines through every day Responsibilities Supervise and support children in their daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Plan and implement engaging educational programs that promote early childhood development. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and well-being. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including Paediatric First Aid protocols. Lead and mentor nursery staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Manage daily operations of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education.
