Our client, a well-established organisation in the automotive industry, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Junior Claims Assessor to become a key part of their expanding repairs team based in Reading, Berkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for motivated professionals with a background in automotive service or technical roles to progress their career within a dynamic environment. The Warranty Claims Assessor will play a vital part in assessing warranty repairs for motorists across the UK, ensuring high standards of service and technical accuracy.

Duties as a Junior Claims Warranty Assessor:
13. Assess warranty repair requests using in house software.
14. Discuss repairs with workshops and customers via telephone, email, and our systems.
15. Taking inbound and outbound calls.
16. Ensure correct diagnosis costs and causes for failures of mechanical and electrical components.
17. Check parts and labour costs are accurate and source reconditioned/ refurbished parts where appropriate.
18. Processing customer contributions towards repairs.
19. Excellent understanding of warranty cover levels.
20. Automotive/ mechanical experience is necessary, eg service / parts advisor, engineer, technician, or service technician.
21. Excellent customer service skills required.
22. Abiding to GDPR.
23. Any other duties your manager reasonably asks you to perform.
Requirements for the Junior Claims Assessor / Service Advisor position:
24. Automotive or mechanical background with experience as a service advisor, technician, or engineer
25. Strong customer service skills with excellent communication ability
26. Knowledge of warranty procedures and claims processing
27. Proficiency in using CRM systems and industry software
28. Ability to manage repairs efficiently and accurately
29. Organised with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills
