We are currently seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a well-established team specialising in industrial and commercial painting projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sprayer who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes and wants to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in spray application techniques, excellent attention to detail, and a strong commitment to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure correct paint adhesion
2. Operate spray guns and associated equipment to apply coatings evenly and efficiently
3. Accurately mix paints and coatings to required specifications, ensuring consistent colour matching
4. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment where required for preparation and finishing work
5. Support fabrication and assembly tasks linked to painting projects when needed
6. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
7. Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
8. Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with client specifications and industry standards
Requirements
9. Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer within construction, manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments
10. Strong mechanical awareness with experience using hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment
11. Ability to mix paints accurately and carry out basic calculations
12. Experience in surface preparation and coating application techniques
13. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
15. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
16. Strong understanding of health & safety procedures

17. Hours: 45 per week (full-time, permanent)
18. Pay: From £14.50 per hour
