HGV 2 Driver Night shift - Broxburn At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for HGV 2 Driver Nights to work with a leading company in the aviation services sector in Broxburn. You will be working for the client in Broxburn. Shift patterns: Schedule: 3-on / 3-off Rotation Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Pay rates: 20.13 GBP hourly Essential requirements for HGV 2 Driver Nights: During the application process, you must provide a full 5-year work, education and address history with no gaps. If you lived outside the UK for over 6 months, an overseas criminal record check will be required. A Basic DBS check is mandatory for airside clearance (we will support you in obtaining this if needed), and you must have no unspent convictions that prevent clearance. You must hold long-term UK work rights (British passport, ILR or Settled Status). An HMRC employment letter is required, and you must live within 40 minutes of site for 7PM shifts. Desirable requirements for HGV 2 Driver Nights: At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar role is required. You must hold a valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence and have no more than 3 penalty points on your licence. We're looking for a strong team player who is adaptable and flexible in a physically demanding, on-your-feet environment. You should be reliable, punctual, respectful and detail-oriented, with clear communication skills. A positive, energetic, can-do attitude and the drive to work in a fast-paced setting are essential. Your role for HGV 2 Driver Nights : Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries and collections. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance. Secure all cargo effectively and manage delivery documentation accurately. Navigate efficient routes while adhering to all road safety and transport regulations. Maintain professional communication with the dispatch team and site supervisors.
