Job Description
We are looking for aLead Data Architect who has experience in solution planning and system architecture design,in leading DW/BI initiatives onAzure and/or Snowflakeplatforms.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable data warehouse and business intelligence solutions, with a strong emphasis onstatistical and advanced analytics. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensuredata integrity and consistencyacross systems.
Insurance domain expertise is mandatory in Commercial/Speciality Insurance
Roles & Responsibilities
* Lead engagements across all phases—from problem definition and diagnosis to solution design, development, and deployment.
* Create detailed design and architecture, and process artifacts, implement the solution and the deployment plan.
* Engage with senior client stakeholders, providing thought leadership in domain, process, and technology.
* Diagnose complex issues, design innovative solutions, and ensure successful delivery to drive client satisfaction.
* Conduct product demos, proof-of-concept workshops, and prepare effort estimates aligned with client budgets.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 15 years of experience in data architecture, including 5+ years as a Lead Data Architect.
* Strong domain knowledge inInsurance. (Commercial/Speciality Insurance)
* Hands-on expertise in
o Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Snowflake
o Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience inat least oneof these technologies.
o Preferred: Experience inmore than oneis a strong advantage.
o Kafka, Power BI, Confluent Cloud, Microsoft Fabric
o Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience inat least oneof these technologies.
o Preferred: Experience inmultipleis a plus.
o Python/PySpark, MSBI (SSIS)
o Preferred: Good understanding or experience inanyof these technologies.
o SQL Scripting and Data Lakes
o Mandatory: Strong proficiency in SQL and in-depth knowledge of Data Lakes.
* Deep understanding of:
o Data modeling and data product concepts
o DW/BI/AI solution architecture
o Agile methodologies
* Experience in:
o Leading business process workshops and Fit-Gap analysis
o Client interfacing and stakeholder management
o Project and team leadership
* Ability to work inhighly regulated environments
