This is a brilliant opportunity for someone at the start of their HR or people career who wants a hands-on role with real variety and genuine impact from day one.
 
You’ll be joining the Resourcing, People & Organisational Culture (RPO) team — a close-knit group whose purpose is to attract, develop, motivate, and retain the talented people who make Adelphi Real World what it is. Your focus will be on supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, primarily across junior and graduate-level roles, working closely with hiring managers and the wider People team.
 
This isn’t a sales role. There’s no cold calling, no targets, no agency pressure. It’s about doing recruitment properly — thoughtfully, people-first, and with real attention to candidate experience.
 
What you’ll do

Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process — from briefing through to offer and onboarding coordination
Sourcing candidates proactively via job boards, LinkedIn, and other channels
Conducting pre-screening calls and telephone interviews
Coordinating and scheduling interviews — both Teams and face-to-face
Providing timely, professional feedback to candidates at every stage
Building strong relationships with internal hiring managers across the business
Managing multiple live roles simultaneously, keeping everyone informed
Screening candidates for right-to-work and visa requirements
Supporting ad hoc people and culture initiatives within the RPO team
 
What you’ll need

Some experience in recruitment, HR, administration, or a people-facing role — in-house, agency, or otherwise
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing the detail
Confident written and verbal communication — you’re comfortable talking to people at all levels
A proactive, self-motivated approach — you take initiative rather than waiting to be told
Comfort using job boards and LinkedIn as sourcing tools
A genuine interest in people, culture, and doing recruitment the right way
